Having been a performer in the arts for many years herself, Colleen translated her knowledge of the stage to the other side of the casting table when she joined Carol Henzel Casting. That led to serving as a New York Casting Partner for Cirque du Soleil and her current position as Entertainment and Talent Coordinator for New York based Cirque-tacular Entertainment. In conjunction with producer Tad Emptage, the team at Cirque-tacular is one of the busiest event and theatrical companies focusing on circus. In addition to producing 5 touring circus shows (including 2011′s Casino Show of the Year, THE ACCUSED) Cirque-tacular is regularly sought out by major corporations and celebrities to create entertainment packages under their respective banners. Colleen scouts talent and oversees the casting of well over 100 projects for Cirque-tacular per year, providing nearly 1000 positions for circus artists as part of events, stage productions, exhibitions, commercials, TV, film, casinos, and cruise ships. Their clients range across the spectrum from Disney to the Smithsonian. Colleen is honored to be a part of this panel and is thrilled with the work CircusNow is doing. She looks forward to meeting the next wave of circus arts creating work today! www.cirquetacular.com
